APGA: DR Sani Shinkafi Condemns Killings In Zamfara

Zamfara state governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Alhaji Sani Abdullahi Shinkafi, has lamented the insistent killings in the state.

Shinkafi, who was speaking after an emergency stakeholders meeting of the party held in Gusau, attributed the spate of killings in most parts of the state to incompetent leadership.
He said the killings in Zamfara state were caused by the lack of focus by the governor who is always on the move junketing from one country to another country instead of staying back in the state to provide purposeful leadership.
Shinkafi, who is a former APGA National Secretary, also blamed federal government for conspiracy of silence on the Zamfara killings and therefore called for more proactive measures to end the blood letting in the state.
He said if he was elected governor of the state next year, he would  turn the situation around by taking right actions that will lead to the ending of banditry and other crimes in the state.
“Our chances of winning the elections are very bright, because the APC and PDP in the state have gone into serious political crises because they are both the birds of same feathers who do not care for the masses hence the problems in the parties.
